RAM-CAM

RAM-CAM is designed for onboard digital video recording for security forces vehicles. RAM-CAM is designed to capture the imminent traffic situation and for general monitoring of the crews service performance. At the same time, it serves as a mobile section speedometer for measuring the average speed of tracked vehicle. 

Principle of the RAM-CAM speed measurement is based on collecting the pulses from independent onboard sensor, that correspond to own travelled distance. Average speed is then calculated from elapsed time. Tracked vehicle over-speeding is consequently evaluated from the synchronised video footage.
